Applications
Nanoceramic coating
Nanoceramic coating enables the use light weight Aluminium with ceramic surface instead of Steel or Titanium for a variety of applications. Aluminium is about three times lighter than Steel and nearly two times lighter that Titanium.  Combination of light weight and high surface hardness are beneficial for fast moving parts and/or those that suffer from wear. Reduction of mass for moving parts means:

lower energy consumption,

reduction of friction losses,

lower inertia,

less impact on components ,

higher speed of movement,
Nanoceramic coating has been successfully used and proven in Sports, Textile and Packaging Industries. Cambridge Nanolitic can offer you a range of services from batch coating to product development and process licensing.
High dielectric strength and high thermal conductivity provide opportunities of using Nanoceramic layers as a basis for thermally efficient substrates and boards in electronics, such as LED lighting, Power electronics, Concentrator Photovoltaic (CPV) and RF application.
All electronic applications are commercialized exclusively via a specialized company Cambridge Nanotherm Ltd (www.camnano.com).
